Setting the thermostat
A.
Thermostat knob
B.
Fan switch
The thermostat in the refrigerator section controls the temperature in
both the refrigerator and the freezer. Turn the knob (A) from position 1 to
7 to set the temperature increasingly lower. The "0" position shows that
the thermostat has been switched off and there is no cooling.
Thermostat settings:
0:
The appliance is switched off.
1-3:
With activated fan and if you want to store food in the freezer for
a short period.
4-6:
With deactivated fan and if you want to store food in the freezer
for a longer period.
7:
With deactivated fan and for freezing fresh food. The appliance
lowers the temperature even further.
Fan
The fan ensures that the temperature in the refrigerator is distributed
evenly. This helps food cool down faster as well. The fan only switches
on when the compressor is running.
Switch the fan on if:
• the ambient temperature exceeds 30 ˚C,
• if there is high humidity or moisture forms on the food,
• you put large quantities of food in the refrigerator (fast cooling).
