STEP 8. Adjusting the door pressure.
There are two screws on each hinge to adjust the tension on
the hinge – this prevents the doors slamming open. Use a 2mm
Allen key to tighten/loosen the screw – do not over-tighten.
STEP 9. Lock it all up.
Your devices are now safe and secure in the iQ Wall Cages.
For desk mounting.
Note: Desk mounting is not recommended because of permanent modification & damage to the desk.
No fixings are provided for desk mounting.
• Open the door, remove the basket, and remove the drawer by releasing drawer runners.
• There are four holes in the base of the iQ Wall Cage.
• Locate the iQ Wall Cage on the desk where you intend it to sit, and mark the hole locations.
• Remove the iQ Wall Cage and drill pilot holes.
• Place the iQ Wall Cage back into position and insert screws in the four holes.
For wall mounting.
Note: The iQ Wall Cages are designed for installation on a solid concrete wall using M8 Dynabolts. For other
types of wall construction, you should seek verification on site by a qualified structural engineer as to the wall's
suitability and strength.
Customer needs to supply the following:
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Spirit level
• Hammer
Note: The fixing kit is supplied
STEP 1.
• Using the supplied iQ8 Wall Mount Template, find a suitable
location where the wall cage will be mounted. Be aware that the
iQ8 Wall Cage will require a power point before finalising a location.
• Using tape, stick the template to the wall.
