The device is operated with electric
current. There is therefore a danger of
electric shock:
Only plug the device into a correctly
installed socket.
Only operate the device if the voltage
stated on the type plate matches the
voltage of your socket.
Make sure that the connection
cable is not kinked or pinched and
make sure that the power cord and
the device do not come in contact
with sources of heat (e.g. hobs, gas
flames).
When unplugging the mains plug from
the socket, always unplug the connec-
tion cable directly. Do not carry the
device by the connection cable.
Never touch the mains plug with wet
hands.
Do not insert any objects into the
openings on the device.
As long as the mains plug is plugged
into the socket, live voltage exists
in the device, even if the device is
switched off.
After every use and in the event of
danger or a defect, unplug the mains
plug from the socket immediately. For
this reason, keep the socket into which
the device's mains plug is plugged
easily accessible at all times.
Unplug the mains plug from the socket
prior to cleaning or maintenance of
the device.
Never unscrew the device and do not
make any technical modifications.

handling. Allow the device to cool
down before draining the water bath.
If the device is operating during an
unusual mains power disturbance, this
may result in performance degrada-
