MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
C 1 Left hand Sidearm
D 1 Right Hand Sidearm
E 2 Bush (118 Long, 25mm O.D)
F 2 M8 x 30 x 1.25 Bolts, Lock Washer, Flat Washer (20mm O.D) and M8 Plastic Bayonet Nut.
G 2 M8 x 30 x 1.25 Bolts, Lock Washer, Flat Washer (20mm O.D) and M8 Slide Nut.
H 2 M12 x 160 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D).
J 2 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D).
K 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Remove bumper, (2 screws in each wheel arch and 2 plastic push clips along lower edge).
2. Remove inner crash beam and foam packing. Locate 2 off dimples in rear panel (852mm centres), open out holes to
sufficient size to insert bushes (E) approx 25mm dia.
3. Remove any mastic compound from forward side of rear panel.
4. Attach sidearms (C & D) using fixings (F & G). Insert bolt (H) from forward face of back panel with bush (E) in position.
5. Loosely attach crossbar (A) using fixing (H & J). Fully Tighten all Fixings.
6. Cut bumper as shown. Re-fit crash beam, foam packing and bumper.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
