To operate the heated underblanket first, connect the switch to the radiator by plugging in the con-
nector. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.

3.3 Selecting temperature

The quickest way to heat up the heated underblanket is to first select the highest setting. If it is
to be used for several hours, we then recommend setting the lowest temperature.

4. cleaning and care

Always remove the power plug from the power supply before cleaning
the heated underblanket. Small spots can be removed with a cloth or
damp sponge and if necessary a little mild liquid detergent. Note that the
heated underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, machine dried
or ironed. On no account switch on the heated underblanket to dry it.
Do not hang up the heated underblanket with clothes pegs or similar to
dry it.
These heated underblankets are machine washable. Before the washing
cycle, first disconnect the plug connection and thus remove the plug
from the heated underblanket (see illustration).
Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30°C cycle (woollens programme).
Use a mild detergent with dosage according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note that the heated
underblanket will suffer from too frequent washing. For its entire life, therefore, the heated under-
blanket should be washed not more than 5 times in a washing machine.
Only reconnect the switch to the heated underblanket after the plug connection and the hea-
ted underblanket are completely dry.
5. Storage
If you are not going to use the heated underblanket for some time, we recommend storing it in its
original packaging in a dry place without weighing it down.
Allow the heated underblanket to cool down beforehand.
6. Disposal
Please dispose of the heated underblanket in accordance with Directive 2002/96/EC on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). In case of queries, please contact the
municipal authorities responsible for waste disposal in your area.
