Maintenance regulations

Pressing tools and pressing attachments that are not maintained, or are not
professionally maintained, can cause serious accidents. You must adhere strictly
to the maintenance intervals and maintenance work described below.
Interval
Regularly (before use, at
the start of the working

indicated by the red and

information on the test

Maintenance work
• Examine the pressing tool and mains cable for
externally visible defects and damage that could
affect safety
• Clean and lubricate the pressing tool
• Clean pressing attachments and check for
defects, particularly for cracks in the material
• Lubricate pressing attachments; see operating
instructions of the relevant pressing attachments
• Have an authorised repair shop perform a test for
safety-related defects or damage. However, this
metrological measurement does not replace any
country-specific regulations and legislation that
might prescribe further checks and maintenance
work
• Have an authorised repair shop check the press
capacity and the state of wear
