Pressing with Geberit pressing attachments
Prerequisites
• Pipe ends are deburred and clean
• Pipe and pressfitting have been fitted together in accordance with the piping
system installation manual
• Pressing attachment is inserted correctly
WARNING
Risk of injury due to flying fragments
Wear protective goggles and a hard hat.
WARNING
Fire risk from heat build-up
Allow the pressing tool to cool down for at least 15 minutes after
30 minutes of continuous operation.
Do not place or store the hot pressing tool near easily flammable
materials.
The pressing procedure can be cancelled at any time; see chapter
"Cancelling the pressing procedure".

Connect the pressing tool to the power supply system. The device is ready
for operation; the green LED lights up.
WARNING! Risk of injury due to use of incorrect pressing attachments. The
diameter of the pressing attachment must match the diameter of the
pressfitting.

Attach the pressing attachment correctly onto the pressfitting and do not tilt
as per figure D. For further information, refer to the operating instructions of
the relevant pressing attachments.
