a. Fields strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cellular/cordless) telephones and land
mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM radio broadcast and TV broadcast cannot be predicted theoretically
with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an electromagnetic site
survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in the location in which the model LX-361T is used ex-
ceeds the applicable RF compliance level above. The model LX-361T should be observed to verify normal opera-
tion. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures may be necessary such as reorienting or relocating
the model LX-361T.

Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile RF communications equip-
ment and the equipment or system - for equipement and systems that are not life-supporting.
The model LX-361T is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated
RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the model LX-361T can help prevent elec-
tromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF com-
munications equipment (transmitters) and the model LX-361T as recommended below, acording to the
maximum output power of the communications equipment.

IX. NOTES
- The glass protecting the lens is the most important and most fragile part of the thermometer, so be
careful with it.
- Clean the glass with a cotton cloth, dampened with water or 70% alcohol.
- Only use the recommended batteries, do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, do not burn them.

- Remove the batteries if the thermometer is not to be used for a long period.
- Do not expose the thermometer to direct sunlight or to water.
- A shock may damage the thermometer.

XI. TROUBLESHOOTING

f you have one of the following problems while using your THERMOFLASH® LX-361T, please refer to
this breakdown service guide to help resolve the problem. If the problem persists, please contact our
customer service at +33 892 350 334.
- The screen is showing temperatures higher than 95°C: the temperature is in Fahrenheit. Change the
measurement unit to Celsius by pressing the Program setting button to get F1 function key.
- The screen is showing temperatures lower than 32°C (89.6°F): to take the internal temperature of
your body, choose the BODY function. If you are in SURFACE TEMP or ROOM mode, the 32°C temperature
displayed is showing the external temperature that your body releases.
- The screen is showing the message HI: the temperature taken is higher than the range of the mode
selected, either higher than 42.9°C (109.2°F) in BODY mode or 60°C (140°F) in SURFACE TEMP mode.
- The screen is showing the message LO: the temperature taken is lower than the range of the mode
selected, either lower than 32°C (89.6°F) in BODY mode or 0°C (32°F) in SURFACE TEMP mode.
