Routine maintenance
WARNING!

Before any routine maintenance operations, secure the harvesting head (2). If it is assembled on the tool, switch
the tool off (see the chosen power unit manual), disconnect the power supply cable and then remove the head
from the extension pole.
All maintenance operations which are not described in this manual shall be carried out only by Authorised
•
Service Points.
Routine maintenance operations can be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1
In general
Before carrying out any routine maintenance operation:
Select the OFF mode of the power unit ON/OFF switch.
•
Wear protective anti-perforation gloves.
•
Remove the harvesting head from the extension pole.
•
6.1.2
Harvesting head cleaning
Each 200 working hours remove dust and dirt and check the screws for proper tightening.
WARNING!
Cleaning the harvesting head limits frictions, which would, otherwise, jeopardize the tool performance and au-
tonomy.
6.1.3
Teeth replacing
In order to replace the teeth (4), carry out the following operations:
Clamp the teeth holder (5) in a vice and by means of a rubber hammer hit the tooth top (4) till it gets out of its seat

Insert the new tooth into its seat, being careful to hook the plastic small protrusion to the teeth holder side (picture F).

6.1.4
Tool storing
The following operations are recommended before storing the tool for a prolonged time:
Take the harvesting head (2) to an Authorised Service Point for being cleaned and greased.

During the storing time do not leave it in the rain. Store it in its box in a dry place.

Periodic maintenance schedule
Maintenance
Check the screws for proper tightening
Clean the harvesting head and lubricate the links
Thorough overhaul by an Authorised Service Point
Check the tightening of the cover screws.
