Before using the netbook power adapter you will need to set it to the correct voltage, corresponding with
your netbook. The correct voltage for your netbook can be found on the bottom of your netbook or on the
original power adapter.
Use the included voltage setting tool to change the voltage setting on the netbook power adapter. The
netbook power adapter has the following voltages to choose from: 9.5 Volt, 10.5 Volt, 12 Volt, 14 Volt,
15 Volt, 16 Volt, 18.5 Volt and 19 Volt.
Important:
Setting the netbook power adapter to an incorrect voltage (i.e. too high or too low) can
cause irreparable damage to your netbook!
When the correct voltage is set, you will need to select the correct tip from the 8 included tips. Refer to
the appendix at the end of this manual to see which tip corresponds with your netbook (brand).
Note:
You should be able to plug the tip into your netbook with the same ease as the original netbook
power adapter. You should never force the tip into the power connector on your netbook.
• Connect the correct tip to the output cable of the netbook power adapter.
• Connect the power cable of the netbook power adapter to the cigarette lighter connector in your car.
• Verify if the correct voltage is selected and indicated by the voltage status LEDs on the top of the
netbook power adapter.
• Connect the output cable to your netbook.
Your netbook is now powered by the netbook power adapter.
