Removing iso-strips
When the scales are delivered, the battery is
already inserted and fitted with iso-strips to
prevent it from discharging ahead of time. To
put the thermometer into operation, you must
remove the iso-strip.
1. Use a coin or equivalent to turn the battery
compartment cover counter-clockwise as far
as it will go and remove it.
2. Remove the iso-strip, replace the battery
compartment cover and turn it clockwise as
far as it will go.
Shortly after the thermometer is powered, the
display will show the measured temperature.
