9 Cleaning

For cleaning the outside of the unit, only use
a dry, soft cloth; never use chemicals or water
which may get inside the unit .
Due to the viscosity of the fog fluid and the
high vaporizing temperature, fog machines are
susceptible to clogging . After approx . 40 hours
of operation, it is therefore recommended to
clean the unit with a fluid consisting of 80 %
distilled water and 20 % vinegar .
1) Disconnect the fog machine from the mains
and allow it to cool down sufficiently .
2) Completely drain the tank .
3) Fill the tank with cleaning fluid .
4) Operate the unit with cleaning fluid in a suf-
ficiently ventilated environment until the tank
is empty .
5) Refill the unit with fog fluid and create fog
for approx . 3 minutes to remove any acid
residues from the unit .
