Filling the water reservoir

1. Adjust the steam switch (5) to the "0" position.
2. Remove the mains plug from the wall-mounted socket.
3. Take off the water filler sealing cap (4) and fill with water
- we recommend the use of distilled or demineralised water
- never use water that has been chemically descaled
4. Empty any remaining water out of the reservoir after use.

Steam ironing

1. Ensure that the steam switch is in the "0" position.
2. Fill the iron with water as described in the "Filling the water reservoir" section.
3. Connect the iron to an electrical socket.
4. As shown on the temperature regulator, the steam ironing function can only be used
in the higher temperature areas, shown by "MAX", otherwise water runs out onto the
soleplate.
5. Wait for the operating indicator light to go out to show that the required temperature
has been reached.
6. Move the steam switch (5) to the "Steam" setting.
