Before use

Please read these instructions carefully. They will give you important advice for the use,
security and maintenance of the appliance. Keep the instructions carefully and, should the
situation arise, pass them on to further users.
This appliance is equipped with an automatic voltage adapter and is therefore suitable
for use world-wide. (100 - 240 V)
The appliance must only be used for the intended purpose according to these
instructions.
Observe the notes on safety regulations.

Use
Before using for the first time
Certain parts of the iron have been lightly greased. This means that a little smoke may
appear when you first switch the appliance on, but smoke should stop being generated
after a short time.
Protect the soleplate from scratches: do not slide the iron over metallic objects (e.g. the
frame around the ironing board, any buttons or zip fasteners).
You can use the steam iron function on this appliance to iron woollen clothing (100 %
wool); set the steam switch to the appropriate position.
