1. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant, fl at surface with suffi cient clearance on all
sides and above (around 30 cm).
2. Insert the plug into a properly installed socket.
3. Switch the device on by moving the On / Off switch (6) to Position I (On). The
operating lamp lights up. Allow the device to heat up for around 5 minutes to remove
any production residues.
4. Switch the device off by moving the On / Off switch (6) to Position 0 (Off).
5. Remove the plug from the socket.
6. Allow the device to cool down and then clean it again.

Assembly

2. Place the fat collecting tray (7) in the hub of the central
spit in the base of the device.
3. Place the heat shield (10) between the heating element (8)
and the rear wall of the device.
4. Place the lower end of the central spit (4) in the hub in the
base of the device.
