Caution: never switch on the kettle when it contains no water. If, by accident, the kettle is switched on without water in it,
the boil dry safeguard switches off the kettle automatically. In this case, remove the kettle from the connection base and
allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Then you can fill the kettle with water and switch it on again. Check that the lid of
the kettle is properly closed. If not, the kettle does not switch off automatically when the water boils and continues to boil.

Regularly clean the kettle for optimum performance. Never submerge the kettle and connection base in water and/or other
liquids. Before cleaning, always remove the plug from the socket and allow the kettle to cool down. Regularly wipe the
outside with a moist cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive cleaning agents!
