5 Installation

Before mounting HYDAC Angle Sensor, make sure there are no strong magnetic and
electric interference fields nearby.
Inadmissible interference fields can influence the measuring accuracy.
The measured values are transferred contactless to the sensor rod via the angle
sensor's magnetic field (the magnet situated at the opposite end of the drive shaft).
The measuring system can be connected to the drive shaft by means of an elastic coupling
which can absorb radial and axial rotations.
It prevents from inadmissible bearing loads.
The centering hub at the front of the sensor serves as a reference for the centering of
the shaft with regards to the drive system. The angle sensor is either connected to the
assembly plate (not supplied with the device) at the front side by means of servo clamps
or directly via bolts.
