Earthing is needed to ensure proper operation and to avoid electrical shocks upon contact.

6. Putting into use

The Conveyostat is put into use by switching on the high voltage power unit (please refer to the
user's manual of the high voltage power unit).

Attention:
- Switch off the high voltage power unit when you do not use the

Conveyostat .
- This lengthens the service life.

7. Functional check

The equipment should be checked for proper operation by visual inspection. Material is no
longer allowed to stick to walls and/or to clot.
When you can get to the material, you can check for the absence of static charges using a
Simco-Ion electrostatic fieldmeter.

is properly earthed. To this end, connect the earthing point

to the earthing point of the high voltage power unit.
