10. Troubleshooting

By purchasing this fog machine, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and opera-
tionally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information!
There suddenly is no fog anymore in operation:
• The device is re-heating. Once the heating process is complete, the device will emit fog again.
• The device no longer is connected to the voltage supply. Check for correct connection and voltage sup-
ply to the mains socket.
• The circuit breaker has tripped. Push the reset button of the circuit breaker.
• The tank is empty; please refill it.
The device produces fog in spite of deactivated fog operation or for a short time after deactivation/dis-
connection:
• It is not a defect. The remaining fog liquid in the still-hot fog exit opening evaporates.
The device does not emit fog in timer mode:
• If the setting "NONSTOP BURST" has been selected in the menu Man Vol Out, there will be no fog emis-
sion in timer mode.
The device cannot be controlled via the DMX controller:
• The wrong DMX address has been assigned.
Repairs other than those described above must only be carried out by an authorised specialist.
