1. OVERVIEW
Thank you for the confidence you have shown in us through the purchase of this equipment.
You have acquired a quality product which has been manufactured entirely in accordance with
recognised technical safety regulations and in compliance with EU standards.
Please read this set of instructions carefully as it contains important information for your safety
during the installation, use and maintenance of this product.
You should keep it for later reference.
Please check that the equipment is in perfect condition when removing it from its packaging
since any source defect is covered under the S&P guarantee.
The personnel responsible for assembly, commissioning and maintenance must read and
familiarise themselves with these instructions before they begin.
2. SAFETY STANDARDS AND "CE" MARK
S&P's technical staff are fully committed to the research and development of ever more effi-
cient products which meet safety standards throughout their working lives.
The standards and recommendations set out below reflect current standards, particularly in
relation to safety, and are therefore based principally on compliance with standards of a ge-
neral nature. Accordingly, we recommend that all persons exposed to risks should pay careful
attention to the health and safety standards in force in their country.
S&P remains exempt from any responsibility for damage arising to persons or objects as a re-
sult of the failure to comply with safety standards or resulting from any modifications made to
the product. The CE mark and the corresponding declaration of conformity attest conformity
with applicable EU standards.
