IRIS – Iris EF Digital Infrared Radiator
4.2.3 Directivity of transmitters
and receivers
The Iris infrared system has a large reception
angle of 270° that gives the receiver a perfect
sound quality, irrespective of where it is positioned.
.
The area covered by the infrared radiator
horizontally forms an ellipse. This means that as
the distance increases, the radiation area also
increases until a certain limit is reached.
