6.1 Assembling the grass trimmer (Fig. 3-4c)
Remove the fastening set from the additional

handle (Fig. 2/Item 4).
Push the additional handle (Figure 3/Item 4) onto

the top handlebar (Figure 3/Item 7) and secure
with the previously removed fastening set.
Place the guard hood (Figure 4a/Item 12) on the

motor head as shown in Figure 4a.
Fold the guard hood (Figure 4b/Item 12) together

Secure with screw (Figure 4c/Item 14).

Remove the fastening set from the guide wheels

(Figure 2/Item 15).
Fit the guide wheels onto the bottom handlebar

and secure with the previously removed fastening

6.2 Height adjustment (Fig. 5b)
You can set your optimal working position by
adjusting the height.
Undo the lock for the handlebar adjustment

Pull out the bottom handlebar (Figure 5b/Item 8)

to the required length.
Refasten the lock for the handlebar adjustment

6.3 Adjusting the additional handle:
Place the grass trimmer on a firm surface. Undo the
lock of the additional handle (Fig. 3/Item 5) and move
the additional handle to its optimal position. Lock the
handle in place by retightening the lock.
6.4 Using the distance bracket
If necessary the distance bracket (Figure 5c/Item 9)
can be swung down until it engages. Use the distance
bracket, for example, to cut around plants.
