CHARGING THE BATTERY
To charge the battery of the LUMA BOOST LED system, connect it via
a micro USB plug with an USB charging cable. It is not necessary to
remove the LED system from the LUMA BOOST textile while charging.
Opening is on the inside of the textile. You can either use an existing
charger of your smartphone or of another device with a micro USB
plug or you connect your LUMA BOOST via the supplied USB cable to a
running device which provides a USB port. Please make sure that the
used charging device corresponds to the requirements described in
the "Warnings and Safety Instructions" section.
The following indicator lamps light during the charging process:
• Blue/red: Charger is connected, battery is being charged.
• Blue/green: Charger is connected, battery is fully charged.
To increase the life span of your battery, fully charge the LED system
prior to first startup and do not store it with an empty battery over a
longer period of time. Re-charge it at least every six months. Do not
let your LUMA BOOST charge unattended and disconnect it when the
charging process is completed.
USAGE OF LUMA BOOST WITH
A SEPARATE BATTERY (POWERBANK)
It is possible to increase the duration of the light of your LUMA BOOST by
using a powerbank or powerpack.
The external power source can be plugged-in at the Micro-USB-Port.
Please be aware that your LUMA BOOST shall not operate for more than
5 hours with a separate energy source. 'Operate' in this case means that
there is one light mode of the front light AND one light mode of the red
backlights switched on simultaneously.
