AVVIAMENTO
Durante la carica e per l'ora successiva la batteria sviluppa gas
esplosivi e tossici.
ATTENZIONE – Caricare la batteria in luoghi ventilati.
NON FUMARE ED EVITARE LA PRESENZA DI FIAMME E
SCINTILLE.
• Eseguire il collegamento del cavo rosso al polo positivo (+) e del
cavo nero al polo negativo (–).
ATTENZIONE – Collegare la spina di corrente del
caricabatteria solo dopo aver effettuato correttamente i
collegamenti alla batteria.
Caricare la batteria secondo le seguenti indicazioni:
Tensione corrente: 14,40 ÷ 14,70 V
Corrente iniziale max: 2,0 ÷ 4,0 A
Durata carica: 12 ÷ 24 h
Prima di utilizzare la batteria, dopo la ricarica, attendere almeno 4
ore.
Una volta scaricata la batteria deve essere ricaricata il più presto
possibile.
Carica batterie in condizione critiche:
Nel caso di batterie sottoposte a scarica profonda o che siano
rimaste scariche per periodi prolungati (>15 giorni) si consiglia di
caricare la batteria a corrente costante pari a 0,5 ÷ 1,0 A per almeno
10 ÷ 12 h, quindi proseguire con la carica (come specificato sopra).
Montaggio batteria
• Aprire il cofano (A, Fig.45) e montare la batteria nell'apposita
sede, come in figura 46. Durante il montaggio della batteria fare
molta attenzione a non schiacciare i cavi presenti all'interno del
cruscotto (Fig. 47)
• Montare la staffa (C, Fig.48) e fissare con gli appositi dadi
(B, Fig.48)
• Eseguire il collegamento del cavo con il cappuccio rosso al polo
positivo (+) e del cavo con il cappuccio nero al polo negativo (–)
con le apposite viti e dadi (D, Fig.48). Proteggere i collegamenti
con vaselina e coprire con i relativi cappucci.
ATTENZIONE – PERICOLO DI CORTOCIRCUITO:
Non collegare mai direttamente tra di loro i poli positivo
e negativo della batteria con un cavo o altro oggetto di
metallo. Non appoggiare utensili sul piano della batteria.
Utilizzare unicamente utensili (un cacciavite o una pinza)
provvisti di manico isolato.

While charging and for at least an hour after charging, the battery

• Connect the red cable to the positive terminal (+) and the black
cable to the negative terminal (–).
WARNING – Before plugging the battery charger into
the mains, check that the connections to the battery are
correct.
Charge the battery according to the following indications:
Constant voltage range: 14.40 - 14.70 V
Max. initial current: 2.0 - 4.0 A
Charge time: 12 - 24 h
Wait at least 4 hours after charging before using the battery.
The battery must be recharged as soon as possible after it becomes
fully discharged.
Battery charger in critical conditions:
In the case of batteries subject to deep-discharge or that have been
left discharged for extended periods (>15 days), it is advisable to
charge the battery at a constant current of 0.5 - 1.0 A for at least
10 - 12 h, then proceed with normal charging as specified above.
Fitting the battery
• Open the cowling (A, Fig.45) and fit the battery in the specific
housing as shown in figure 46. When fitting the battery be
careful not to crush the cables inside the dashboard (Fig. 47)
• Fit the bracket (C, Fig.48) and secure it with the nuts (B, Fig.48)
• Connect the cable with the red cap to the positive terminal
(+) and the cable with the black cap to the negative terminal
(–) using the specific nuts and bolts (D, Fig.48). Protect the
connections by smearing with petroleum jelly and cover with
the corresponding caps.
WARNING – DANGER OF SHORT-CIRCUIT:
Never directly connect the positive and negative terminals
of the battery with a cable or other metal object. Do not
place tools on top of the battery. Use tools (a screwdriver
or pliers) with insulated handles only.

MISE EN ROUTE
Pendant la charge et pendant l'heure qui suit la batterie développe
des gaz explosifs et toxiques.
ATTENTION – Charger la batterie dans des lieux ventilés.
NE PAS FUMER ET ÉVITER LA PRÉSENCE DE FLAMMES ET
ÉTINCELLES.
• Brancher le câble rouge au pôle positif (+) et le câble noir au
pôle négatif (–).
ATTENTION – Relier la fiche de courant du chargeur
seulement après avoir effectué correctement les
branchements à la batterie.
Charger la batterie selon les indications suivantes :
Tension courant : 14,40 ÷ 14,70 V
Courant initial max: 2,0 ÷ 4,0 A
Durée charge : 12 ÷ 24 h
Avant d'utiliser la batterie, après la recharge, attendre au moins 4
heures.
Une fois déchargée, la batterie doit être rechargée le plus vite
possible.
Chargeur de batterie en condition critique :
Si la batterie est soumise à une décharge profonde ou reste vide
pendant de longues périodes (>15 jours) il est conseillé de charger
la batterie à courant constant de 0,5 ÷ 1,0 A pendant au moins
10 ÷ 12 h, et continuer avec la recharge (comme sus-indiqué).
Montage batterie
• Ouvrir le coffret (A, Fig.45) et monter la batterie dans son
logement comme indiqué fig.46. Pendant le montage de
la batterie faire très attention à ne pas écraser les câbles se
trouvant à l'intérieur du tableau de bord (Fig. 47)
• Monter l'étrier (C, Fig.48) et fixer avec les écrous (B, Fig.48)
• Relier le câble avec capuchon rouge au pôle positif (+) et le
câble avec capuchon noir au pôle négatif (–) avec les vis ad
hoc et les écrous (D, Fig.48). Protéger les connexions avec de la
vaseline et recouvrir avec les capuchons.
ATTENTION – RISQUE DE COURT-CIRCUIT :
Ne pas relier directement entre eux les pôles positif
et négatif de la batterie avec un câble ou autre objet
métallique. Ne pas appuyer d'outils sur le plan de la
batterie. Utiliser uniquement des outils (un tournevis ou
une pince) équipés de manchon isolé.
