Handling of the cage tension spring clamps
Prepare the connecting cable. The cable ends for the connections B+ and D+
(small cage tension spring clamps) must be stripped 8–9 mm. The cable ends
for the battery connections (large cage tension spring clamps) must be stripped
12–13 mm. Cable end sleeves are not required.
The tension spring clamp can be opened with the help of a suitable flat
screwdriver.
* To do so, insert the flat screwdriver into the lower, square opening (fig. 3)
and open the tension spring clamp (fig. 4). The clamping element of the
spring in the upper, round opening opens.
* Insert the cable into the cage tension spring clamp up to the isolation
(upper, round opening, fig. 4) and pull out the flat screwdriver (fig. 5). The
tension spring clamp closes again and the cable is securely clamped.
* Repeat the procedure for all connections:
D+, B+, Batt. I +, Batt. II +, Batt. I -, Batt. II -.
Make sure that the cable ends sit firmly in the cage tension spring clamps!
