The blade breaks
Incorrect blade tension:
- Correct the blade tension (see "Setting up").
Load too high:
- Reduce the pressure against the blade.
Incorrect blade:
- Replace the blade (see "Maintenance and care"):
Thin workpiece = narrow blade
Thick workpiece = wide blade.
Blade warped
Load too high:
- Avoid applying lateral pressure on the blade.
Strong saw vibrations
Saw inadequately secured:
- Secure the saw firmly onto a suitable floor (see "Setting up").
Saw table loose:
- Position and fasten the table.
Motor mount loose:
- Check the fastening screws and tighten them if necessary.
Extraction port blocked
No extraction system connected or suction capacity insufficient.
- Connect the extraction system or increase the extraction power (air speed ≥ 20 m/sec at the chip extraction port).
