- The frame is secured with screws (M10) on a concrete slab type structure solid and sets capable of
supporting the weight of the heat pump and allowing the natural evacuation of rainwater and
condensate. Wood supports or other deformable, corrodible and / or hydrophobic material is
prohibited. The mounting of anti-noise systems is recommended ref 102848 (optional).
- Sufficient space clearance (50 cm minimum) for the optimal operation and disassembly of the panels is

- Make sure that the air flow (grid inlet and outlet) is not obstructed by any objects or back flow. The
performance of the heat pump may be reduced and it may even be switched off for safety reasons. Refer
to the chapter "Maintenance for cleaning".
- The water flow through the pump is driven by the pool filter pump (or an auxiliary pump). The
recommended water flow for each pump is shown in the table of specifications and on the label on the
side of the heat pump.

Reminder :
The water pipe between the pool and the heat pump must not exceed 10m.
Position the BY AQUALUX heat pump on the delivery side between the filter and the water treatment
system.
A by-pass system with three valves or optional by pass kit 32/38 ref 101642 or 50 ref 105036 ref is
used in order to adjust the flow rate of water from the pool passing through the heat pump. In this way,
the device can be removed without stopping the filtration. Condensates must flow freely into the sewer.

Maximum length of the power cable: 10 m.
If the power cable is ≥10m, the diameter must be increased.
The signal cable can be extended to 50m.
The heat pump must not operate if the filter is stopped. This function is performed by a built-in
flow switch. Check that the pump flow is sufficient for the switch to work.
