• Examine the area in which the unit is to be used and remove any objects which might be caught and flung by the mower blades.
• Inspect the unit to ensure that all operating parts are firmly seated, undamaged, and do not exhibit excessive wear.
• Observe the installation instructions when replacing components.
• Inspect the power cord connected to the outside of the unit for damage and ageing (brittleness). Use the mower only if the power cord is free of faults.
• Repairs to the power cord may only be performed by a qualified electrician.
• Inspect the catcher more frequently for signs of wear.
• Control equipment may not be removed or bypassed (e.g., securing the control lever to the handle).
3. Starting
• Only switch the motor on if your feet are located a safe distance from the cutting mechanism.
• Unless unavoidable, never tilt the mower when switching it on. If you must tilt the mower, tilt it as little as possible and always away from yourself, keeping
the mower body between yourself and the blades.
• Never switch the mower on whilst standing in front of the discharge opening.

• Before lifting or carrying the mower, switch the motor off and wait for the cutting mechanism to stop rotating.
• Only adjust the cutting height with the motor switched off and the cutting mechanism stopped.
• Never open the guard flap whilst the motor is running.
• Before removing the grass catcher, switch the motor off and wait for the cutting mechanism to come to a standstill. fter emptying the catcher, make
sure that it is securely reattached.

• Switch the unit off, remove the ignition key, and remove the rechargeable battery from the mower whenever:
a) You must free a jammed blade;
b) before inspecting, cleaning or working on the mower;
c) You run over a solid object. First, inspect the mower and the cutting mechanism for damage. Then repair the damage.
d) The mower has become unbalanced and is vibrating severely (In this case, immediately switch the mower off and attempt to determine the cause oft
he vibration).
• C UTION: Improper handling of the grass catcher posses a hazard.

inspection by a specialist).
• Do not store the mower in damp areas.
• Ersetzen Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen verschlissene oder beschädigte Teile.
7. Battery:
• If the electrolyte (acid) escapes from the battery cell due to extreme mishandling or extremely difficult conditions, observe the following:
- void contact with the skin.
- Rinse off the electrolyte with water or a neutralising agent.
- The rinsing water must not seep into drains or the soil. It must be disposed of separately.
- On contact with the skin or eyes, rinse with water and consult a doctor.
- Take the mower to a specialised workshop for cleaning and repairs.
8. Dispose of batteries in an environmentally responsible manner (for battery replacement see „maintenance"):

• Do not store or use charger in humid or wet conditions but in dry room only.
• Disconnect charging units from mains socket by holding plug only. Do not pull on cable as this can cause damage to internal connections and make the
unit unsafe.
• Never use the charger if the cable, plug or any part of the mower itself should be faulty. ny repair should be carried out by a qualified person.
• Ensure that the cooling of the charging unit is always guaranteed by keeping the cooling slots open and clean. Do not use it close to a radiatoror other
