6.4 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 3 / item 2)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (3).
The battery capacity indicator (2) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashing:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs fl ashing:
The battery pack has been deep-discharged and
is defective. Do not re-use or charge a defective
battery pack.
6.5 LED light (Fig. 4 / item 6)
The LED light (6) can be used in poor lighting
conditions to illuminate the area where you
want to screw. The LED light (6) comes on
automatically as soon as you press the On/Off
switch (5).
6.6 Changing the bit (Fig. 5)
Caution! Set the changeover switch (4) to its
center position whenever you carry out any work
(for example changing the tool, maintenance
work, etc.) on the impact wrench.
Fitting/removing a tool
Fit the required impact socket (10) by pushing
it onto the square drive (1). Remove the impact
socket (10) by pulling it off the square drive (1).
6.7 Working with the hammer driver
Loosening:
•
Fit the impact socket (10) on the impact
wrench (see point 6.6).
•
Place the impact wrench on the screw/nut
and loosen the screw/nut by pressing the On/
Off switch (5).
•
If the screws/nuts are very tight or if they are
rusted, use a tire wrench or torque wrench to
slightly loosen them.
Tightening:
•
Warning! Use the impact wrench only for
loosening screws/nuts. If you want to use the
impact wrench to tighten screws and nuts,
you must also use a torque limiter which is
designed for this purpose. If not, the screw
connection may be damaged. The torque

limiter is available from your dealer. It is not
included in the scope of this delivery.
•
Prior to tightening, carefully insert the screw/
nut into the threads.
•
It is important that screws/nuts with special
torque specifications (for example provided
by the vehicle manufacturer in the automoti-
ve sector) are tightened only with a suitable
torque limiter.
Danger!
Screws/nuts must be fi nish-tightened with a
torque wrench which is set to the torque specifi ed
by the manufacturer and then they must be
checked!
6.8 Removable holding clip (Fig. 1 / item 8)
When the holding clip (8) is fi tted, the equipment
can be hung e.g. on a belt. The removable holding
clip can be screw-fi tted to either the left or right-
hand side of the equipment. Fitting is possible but
not necessary.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering spare parts
HAZARD!
Always take the battery out of the equipment
before starting any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
•
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it down with compressed air at
low pressure.
•
We recommend cleaning the equipment
immediately each time after use.
•
Clean the equipment regularly with a damp
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these may
be aggressive to the plastic parts in the
equipment. Ensure that no water can get into
the interior of the equipment. The ingress of
water into an electric power tool increases the
risk of an electric shock.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no other parts inside the equipment
which require maintenance.
