Change the Door Stop
• If necessary, the door can be changed from right-
to left-hinged.
• Warning! Before you work on the appliance,
always pull the mains plug out of the point.
• In order to avoid damages to persons and prop-
erty, execute the change of the door stop with
two persons.
• We recommend leaving the change of the door
stop to experts.
• Before you start with the modifications, here is
some general info:
ū Always pay attention to the number of shims
on the bearing pins and screws.
ū Position the doors always so that they close
tightly.
1. Remove the screw covers on the lid of the
appliance. Loosen the screws and remove the
lid from the appliance.
2. Remove the hinge cover from the lid of the
appliance. Depending on the model, insert the
separately enclosed or the freshly removed
hinge cover on the opposite side.
3. Loosen the screws from the hinge and remove
it. Lightly lift the door and remove it.

4. Unscrew the bolt from the upper left side of the
appliance and screw it on the opposite side.
5. Loosen the bolt from the hinge using a
screwdriver. Turn the hinge around and replace
the bolt. Set this hinge aside. You will not need
it again before step 11.
6. Disconnect the door bushing from the top of
the door and the hinge shroud from the bottom
of the door. Replace each on the other side and
tighten the hinge shroud.

7. Remove the adjustable feet of the appliance.
Loosen the screws on the lower hinge and
remove it.
8. Loosen the screw on the left side of the appli-
ance and replace it on the other side.
9. Loosen the screw on the lower hinge and
replace it on the other side.
Screw the hinge on the left side of the
appliance. Attach the feet back again.
