2/ APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION

For the 1sst time to use or no use for a long time, it is recommended that you fill to the
maximum level mark with fresh tap water, boil and empty the kettle at least 2 times to clear
kettle of any tiny particles. Do not drink this water.

3/ USING YOUR APPLIANCE

a) Filling the kettle

Place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface.
 Remove the appliance from its base. Open the lid by pressing the opening button and
fill the kettle with water.
 The amount of water is visible through the water level indicator and it should never
be less than the MIN mark and above the MAX mark. Be careful, if the kettle is
overfilled, the water may be ejected during boiling.
 Close the lid and place the kettle on its base unit.
Do not fill the kettle through the spout
Do not open the lid when water is boiling
Contact with steam must be avoided
b) Connecting the kettle and preliminary installation
 Place the kettle on its base. Unwind the wire from the base and plug it into the
socket.
 The lights on the control panel light.
