Adjusting and Setting With Menus

About On-Screen Menus

You can change various settings, such as shooting
conditions, recording methods, and system setup of the
camera, through button operation, while observing
menus displayed on the LCD monitor of the camera
control unit or an external monitor connected to the
camera.
This section explains how to read the on-screen menus
before starting menu operations.
For the overall menu configuration, see page 37.
MAIN MENU
1 Cursor
Selects a menu item or setting item. Move the
cursor up or down using the V or v button.
2 Menu items
Select an item using the V or v button.
When you select an item for which a set value is
displayed, you can change the value by pressing the
B or b button.
When you select an item with no set value, press the
ENTER button, and the corresponding SET UP
menu appears.
3 Set values
Select a menu item using the V or v button, then
change the value by pressing the B or b button.
4 Operation message
Shows you how to operate the currently displayed
menu.

SET UP Menus

1 Setup menu
The item of the current SET UP menu is displayed.
2 Cursor
Selects a setting item. Move the cursor up or down
using the V or v button.
3 Setting items or submenu items
The items that can be set with each SET UP menu
or submenu are displayed.
For an item with no set value, select the item using
the V or v button, then press the ENTER button.
The corresponding submenu appears.
For an item for which a set value is displayed, you
can change the value by pressing the B or b button.
4 Set value
The currently set values are displayed. You can
change a value by pressing the B or b button.
For the initial set value for each item, see "Menu
Configuration" on page 37.
5 Operation message
Shows you how to operate the currently displayed
menu.
