2.1. Enabling the system

To enable the system key in the secret code and then press OK (fig.2a) or press and release push button A
(fig.3) on the remote control (fig.2b). If this is done correctly the unit emits two acoustic signals (BEEP) and the
ACTIVE (GREEN) indicator light flashes (fig.5 on page 4).
At this stage zone 1 is active. When starting, the system checks for about 25 seconds that none of the
sensors are in an alarm state. The ACTIVE indicator light flashes differently from the standard enabling status.
Any stimulation coming from a sensor generates a BEEP that means the signal has been received correctly
and extends the pre-enabling phase a further 25 seconds..

2.2. Enabling the system – Partial mode
The system can be enabled partially: in this way only the signals coming from a certain set of sensors are
considered. When the system is in this state it is called partialised and the PARTIAL indicator light (yellow) is
on. The system can be partialised when, for example, you want to enable it even if there are people or animals
inside the house. In this case the unit is to be programmed so that in one of its zones only the perimeter
sensors are active and the volumetric ones controlling inside the rooms are excluded. Up to four zones can
be set, that is, four different configurations; the same sensor can be enabled in all zones or in just some,
independently from the others.
The system can be enabled and disabled with the remote control or secret code entered on the keypad. It is
preferable to leave all the sensors in zone 1 so that the entire alarm system can be enabled simply by pressing
a key on the remote control and see to setting partial enablings on zones 2, 3 and 4.
Zone 4 is the only one that can be used for the SuperVigil function.
When the unit is enabled, detections of the sensors in the SuperVigil zone do not cause an alarm cycle (so
the siren and auto dialler do not start working) but just a local acoustic signal. With this function you can, for
instance, exploit the unit as a gong in business dealings during the period when it would normally be disabled.
To enable the system in the partial mode via the keypad:
• Key in the enabling code to enable the system on
• Press key Z until the zone wanted is displayed.
• The unit signals the number of the zone activated with BEEPs (fig. 4c) and the PARTIAL indicator light
turns on.
To enable the system in the partial mode via the remote control:
• Press push button A (fig.3) to enable the system.
• Press push button B (fig. 3) several times (at about one second
intervals) until the zone wanted is activated (fig. 4b).
• The unit signals the number of the zone activated with BEEPs (fig.
4c) and the PARTIAL indicator light turns on.
You have about 25 seconds to do this after which the system is active.
