Kehrsaugmaschine
AKS 88|BM 180
CHAP. 3 – UNPACKING
After removing the external packing take the machine off the pallet: this operation can be done in 2 ways:
3) Use a hook with 3 tie rods suitable to support the machine's weight that is indicated on the label CE. Raise the bonnet until the run end of
the gas spring. Unfasten the screw that works as "run end" to get the gas spring free. Screw tight the steel eyebolt in thread hole on the
basement (Part. 2 Fig. 2). Connect the tie rods to all the 3 lifting hooks (see A in Fig. 2) considering that the tie rod connected to the front
steel eyebolt must be 40 cm longer than the others. With a forklift or a crane suitable for the machine's weight lift the motor sweeper
from the pallet and put it slowly on the ground. Fix the gas spring by its screw to the frame.
4) The motor sweeper can be moved without being lifted by a slipway able to carry the weight of the machine and the operator on board. Put
an inclined board (of minimum mt 1,5 in length in order to not damage the flaps) close to shorter side of the pallet. Remove the
protections in wood around the wheels, go on board, and disengage the parking brake Part. 3 Fig. 2, press the pedal to release the lever
block Part. 4 Fig. 2. Request the help of two people to push the machine on the slipway. The operation must be done on wide, flat ground
with no people in front machine.
Once the unpacking is finished unfasten the lifting eyebolt; fix the right side brush and, if necessary, also the left side brush (see picture on
page 22).
IMPORTANT: All the waste material left over by the unpacking operation will have to be cleared by the user/owner following the applicable
clearing rules
