To adapt the appliance to another type of gas, replace the main injectors, replace the pilot injectors, replace
the by-pass screws of the gas taps, regulate the bushes of the primary air and regulate the power to
minimum with the by-pass screws of the taps.
a) Replacing of the main injector and adjusting the primary air.
Carry out the following operations in series for the main burner referring to table 2 and Fig. 5:
Remove the pan supporting grid, the brass flamespreading, the body burner cover and the basin.
Loosen bush fixing screw V, pull bush B inwards, unscrew and replace injector I with the injector for
the new type of gas installed.
Regulate the primary airflow positioning bush B at the right distance H for the new type of gas
installed.
b) Replacing of the pilot injectors.
Carry out the following operations in series for the pilot burner referring to table 2 and Fig. 6:
Remove screw in the side through the small side holes.
Through the hole in the sides of the appliance, unscrew screw cap A using a screwdriver. Then
unscrew and replace pilot injector B with one that corresponds to the type of gas installed.
Replace and tighten screw cap A back in again and check the stability of the pilot burner flame. If
necessary regulate the air by turning ring nut C from below after having removed the grills, the
stones, the drawer and the cover of the pilot group.
c) Adjusting the minimum power
Carry out the following operations in series for the gas tap referring to table 2 and Fig. 7:
Remove the knob and use a flat-bladed screwdriver to reach the by-pass screw BP of the tap
through the left hole. Insert the screw of the correct diameter and always screw it fully down.
ATTENTION - After adapting remember to:
Apply an indelible sticker on the data plate with the data of the new installation.
Fix the new seals on the regulated parts (air bush and by-pass screw of the tap).
Perform a pressure test of the gas circuit and check for leaks.
