Appetizer Cooker 2-Burner Folding Stove
OUTDOOR USE ONLY!
IMPORTANT read these instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with the appliance before connecting it
to gas cartridges. Retain these instructions for future reference.
• This stove should only be used with Primus 220693, 220794, 220294 butane-propane mixture gas cartridges which
comply EN417. It may be hazardous to attempt to fit any other types of gas cartridges.
• This stove is designed for use outdoors away from any flammable materials. The stove must be used on a level, stable,
non flammable surface. The appliance should be protected from direct draughts but in a well-ventilated place.
• No modifications should be made to any part of this stove and repairs and maintenance should only be carried out
by qualified persons.
Connecting to a Gas Cartridge
• This stove is fitted with sealing washers. Check that they are present and in good condition before connecting to a
cartridge. Do not use if a seal is damaged or worn.
• Do not use the appliance if leaking damaged, or if it does not operate properly.
• Only change gas cartridges outdoors or in a well-ventilated place away from naked flames, any other source of
ignition, and other people.
• Close control valve by turning knob.
• In an upright position, carefully screw the gas cartridge onto the stove taking care not to cross thread. Screw down
until the sealing washer meets the cartridge. Tighten, hand tight only.
• If there is a smell of gas or you suspect a leak, take the appliance to a well-ventilated place outdoors away from any
sources of ignition. If you wish to check for leaks on your appliance, do so outside. To detect leaks use soapy water.
Never try to detect leaks by using a flame.
• Repeat these instructions to connect gas cartridge to second burner.
• If the stove is fitted to an empty cartridge then read "Removing the Cartridge".
Instructions for use
• Unfold the legs until they lock in their open position.
• To light the stove, hold a lit match near the burner whilst opening the control valve.
• When burner is lit, turn the control knob clockwise/anticlockwise to regulate intensity of the flame. Do not open valve
beyond maximum point as this may cause unnecessary flaring and waste of gas.
• Do not move the stove once lit as this may result in flaring. A warm up period of about 1 minute is required.
• The stove must be used on a stable horizontal surface. Ensure that the stove is secure.
• Always operate the stove at least 60cm away from walls and ceilings and never near flammable materials.
• Be carful not to touch hot parts of this stove during and after use. Handle with care. Keep children away from this
appliance.
• Extinguish by turning control knob fully clockwise. Check that the stove is fully extinguished before leaving
unattended.
Removing the Cartridge
• Check that the stove is off by turning control knobs fully clockwise and checking that the stove has fully extinguished.
• Only change gas cartridges outdoors or in a well-ventilated place away from naked flames and any other source of
ignition.

• Unscrew the cartridge from the stove anticlockwise and refer to the section "connecting to a gas cartridge" for refitting
a new cartridge.
• The cartridge may be disconnected even if some gas remains.
• Check the contents of a cartridge by shaking and listening for the liquid gas.
• Dispose of as per instructions printed on the cartridge.
Storage and Maintenance
• Once fully cooled, disconnect the cartridges from the stove and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
• Do not transport or store the burner with gas cartridges connected
• If you suspect a gas leak of malfunction, stop using immediately, extinguish and disconnect from the gas
cartridges. Have the appliance tested by a qualified person.
• If the stove fails to light or its performance decreases the gas jet may be blocked. Unscrew the burner; the jet can
now be removed by unscrewing with a spanner. Wash the jet in petrol. Do not use metallic objects to clean the jet.
Reassemble the stove. Check for leaks after replacing the jet using soapy water only.
