SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Even though the appliance is fitted with full safety provisions, please read the safety instructions carefully
and only use the appliance in accordance with these instructions to avoid injury or damage.
Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to other people, do not forget to
include these instructions.
This appliance is designed for the preparation of suitable ingredients. It is intended for domestic use only,
not for commercial applications.
Danger to children
• Children often underestimate the danger caused by using electrical devices in ways for which
they are not designed. Do not leave children unattended with this appliance.
• This appliance must not be used by children or other people with limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities unless they are supervised. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with this appliance.
Electrical hazards
• Please ensure that the appliance is connected to a properly-installed and earthed mains socket located
nearby, and that the mains voltage matches the technical specification of the appliance.
• The appliance must not be immersed in water or any other liquid, to prevent the risk of electric shock.
The appliance should not be used immediately next to the kitchen sink for the same reason.

• Do not use the COMPACT MIXER if there is any visible damage to the appliance or the cable,
or if the appliance has fallen over.
• Do not carry out any modifications to the appliance or to the mains power cable yourself. The mains
cable must not be replaced or modified by the user. Repairs must only be undertaken by a specialist
workshop authorised by SOLIS, or by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may cause considerable
risk of injury to the user.
Other causes of injury
• Only use the wire beaters and dough hooks supplied with the appliance.
• Replace the wire beaters and dough hooks if they are damaged.
• The attachments will continue to turn, even after the appliance has been switched off.
Wait until the attachments have stopped turning before you handle the appliance.
Caution – damage to the appliance
• Do not use extension cables and make sure that the mains cable does not come into contact with
the rotating dough hooks or wire beaters.
• Do not place the appliance or the mains cable near to sources of heat.
• Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge of the worktop.
Always unwind the mains cable fully before use.
Do not insert any implements, such as spoons, knives, etc., into the rotating dough hooks/wire
beaters, and do not put any kitchen utensils into the mixing bowl while the appliance is still turning.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised while it is still operating or still connected to the mains.
