SWITCHING ON and OFF

The COMPACT MIXER is designed for short operating periods of 10 minutes maximum. Switch the appli-
ance off after 10 minutes, and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before using it again.
1. Unwind the mains cable fully and plug in the appliance.
2. Press «the button
display starts to run, the speed indicator stands at 1 and the dough hook or wire beater begins to rotate.
3. Use the -/+ button to set the speed.
You can choose between 16 different speed settings. Keep the - or + button pressed to scroll
through the speed settings. After 9 minutes, 59 seconds, the clock will jump back to 0 minutes,
00 seconds and re-start the count.
4. Press «the button
TIP:
To prevent excessive splashing or dusting (e.g. with flour), place the wire beater or dough hook fully
into the ingredients before switching the mixer on, and switch the appliance off before you lift the
attachments out of the mixed ingredients.
Start with the lowest speed to prevent dry ingredients raising dust or liquids splashing. You can change
the speed of the mixer to any setting while it is still running. We recommend that you use a higher
setting for heavier mixtures.
