6. Installing the chimney stove
The installation base must be flat and level. The
chimney stove may only be installed on an adequate-
ly sturdy base. In order to protect the floor covering,
the chimney stove may be placed on a metal floor
sheet or glass plate.
A stable and heat resistant base must be used on
combustible flooring or carpet. This must extend be-
yong the combustion chamber of the chimney stove
by 50 cm towards the front and 30 cm on each side.
7. Assembly instructions
•
Determine the exact installation location. No
flammable objects or materials may be posi-
tioned or stored within the radiance range, i.e. a
distance of 80 cm from the viewing glass of the
chimney stove.
Minimum distance between the unit and
flammable or supporting walls:
A = adjacent wall
B = back wall
C = side wall
D = floor protection
•
Install the pipe lining (on-site) into the chimney.
The height of connection can be determined indi-
vidually, but should not exceed 1.5 m from the
connector fittings. In the case of inserting through
flammable material, no flammable materials
should be found within a radius of 20 cm of the
stove pipe.
•
Connect the stove pipe (on-site) to the D=Ø80
mm connector fittings of the chimney stove.
•
Slide the chimney stove on the intended installa-
tion site and align it so that the stove pipe fits into
the pipe lining.
Important:
•
The stove pipe connections must be sealed tight
and leak-proof.
We recommend the use of Olsberg stove pipes
with a sealing lip.
•
In order to clean the connection pipes, bends
with cleaning openings must be used.
•
The stove pipe may not extend into the chimney.
Please remember that the surrounding walls and
installation base may reach a temperature of up to
85°C according to the test regulation EN 13240, and
this may cause discolouration to wallpaper, floor cov-
erings such as cork or similar construction materials.
7.1. Water Installation
Important:
•
The respective local regulations and special rules
are to be observed.
•
Work on water and electrical connections may
only be performed by specialists.
•
In addition to the required safety components, a
return flow bypass valve that increases the return
flow temperature to at least 55°C must always be
installed.
•
The chimney stove may never be operated
without water.
8. Start-up and operation
•
The pellet-burning chimney stove is connected
by the attachment plug found on the unit to a
230V power socket, which is protected by a cir-
cuit breaker.
•
Switch the main switch on the back side of the
unit to "I".
•
An acoustical signal is sounded and the display
is activated.
•
Fill the pellet container with pellets.
