9 Putting on the lamp shade
A lamp shade causes a softer, scattered flash
and better illumination of shadows.

The diameter of the fastening rod of the lamp
shade must be 8-10 mm in order to fit into
the shade holder

10 Transporting and storing the
studio flash unit
If you transport the studio flash unit to a
different location or want to store it for an
extended amount of time, then proceed in
this order:
- Press the power switch
flash unit so that it is in position O (Off).
- Let the studio flash unit cool down to room
temperature.
- Unplug the power cord and all connecting
cables.
- Remove the lamp shade if applicable.
- Remove the reflector
- Pull out the bulb from the modelling lamp.
- Put on the protective cap.
- Unscrew the studio flash unit from the
tripod and remove it.

Put the studio flash unit and all accessories
in their original packaging. Store the studio
flash unit packed in this way somewhere dry
and dust-free at -20°C to +50°C.
