Ironing
Please Note!
Only connect the adapter to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the rating plate of the adapter.
Do not use any extension cables.
Always test whether the ironing tem-
perature is suitable for the fabric fi rst
on a small, ideally inconspicuous spot
on the fabric.
Do not iron delicate fi bres with steam
to prevent any damage!
Do not iron over zips, studs, clips, se-
quins etc. to prevent any damage to
the coating on the bottom of the iron.
(Picture D)
This iron can be used both with and with-
out a mains cable.
For cordless ironing, move the release
switch (4) on the adapter (11) to the
position
– the iron is released from
the adapter.
For ironing with the mains cable, place
the iron back on the adapter and move
the release switch on the adapter to the
position
in order to fi x the iron.
If the iron is connected to the mains pow-
er during ironing, the set temperature is
maintained constantly and at all times.
The device works like a conventional iron.
In the case of cordless ironing, the
temperature drops after a little while.
The iron needs to be connected to the
adapter at regular intervals (approx. 2 to
6 minutes) so that the set temperature
is maintained. The intervals are slightly
longer with dry-ironing than they are with
steam-ironing.

1. Make sure that the temperature con-
trol dial (15) is set to OFF.
2. Connect the iron to the adapter (11).
3. Plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
4. Place the iron with the adapter
upright on the ironing board or on a
stable, heat-resistant and moisture-re-
sistant surface.
5. Check the label in the garment for the
required ironing temperature (see the
"Ironing Recommendations" chapter)
and set this temperature using the
temperature control dial. The heating
control lamp (16) lights up.
Once the chosen temperature is
reached, the heating control lamp
goes out. The iron is ready for use.
6. Move the bottom of the iron (12)
back and forth on the fabric until it is
smooth.
7. For steam-ironing, press the button
for setting the steam quantity (14)
several times if necessary. The display
(8) shows the selected steam quantity
(0 – 1 – 2).
Steam-ironing is only possible at
a high temperature. At lower tem-
peratures, water could emerge
from the bottom of the iron rather
than steam.
8. When the water tank (7) is empty,
steam will no longer be produced.
Follow the instructions in the "Filling
the Water Tank" section to refi ll it.
