WARNING – Danger of Injury

Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material. There is a
danger of suffocation.

Never attempt to iron clothes while
somebody is wearing them. There is a
danger of burns.

Danger of scalding from hot steam!
○ Never aim steam directly at people,
animals or plants.
○ Do not turn the hot device upside
down or place it on its side. Hot
water could run out.
○ Allow the device to cool down
before the water tank is topped up.
Otherwise there could be a sudden
emission of steam.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
young children and animals. There is a
danger of strangulation.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such a
way that it does not present a trip
hazard.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to

Only iron on a heat-resistant and
moisture-resistant surface. We recom-
mend that you use a standard ironing
board. Never iron on surfaces made
from glass or plastic.
■
Never direct the steam directly at the
connecting cable or parts containing
electrical components (such as inside
ovens, fridges, at switches and lights,
microwave ovens).
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces (e.g. of the
device).
■
Disconnect the adapter from the
mains power if a fault occurs or in a
thunderstorm.

When you disconnect the adapter
from the mains power, always pull on
the mains plug and never the mains
cable.
■
Never pull or carry the adapter by the
connecting cable.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Never place heavy objects on the
device or the connecting cable.
■
Use and store the device at room
temperature, do not expose it to
extreme temperatures or temperature
fl uctuations.
■
Protect the device from other heat
sources, naked fl ames, persistent
moisture and impacts.

DEVICE FUNCTIONS

• The device features electronic tem-
perature control which reliably sets
and maintains the chosen tempera-
ture while the iron is connected to the
mains power.
• The anti-drip system prevents water
from dripping out of the bottom of
the iron (12) at low temperatures by
switching off the steam generation.
NOTICE: The anti-drip system may
cause a clicking noise during the heat-
ing-up or cooling-down process. This
is normal and not a defect.
• The self-cleaning function removes
limescale residues from the device.
• The anti-limescale system of the de-
vice removes the lime from the water
if tap water is used instead of distilled
water for steam-ironing.
• Thanks to the ceramic coating, the
bottom of the iron slides effortlessly
over the fabric.
