Briefly press the switch-on button. The
safety button (4) will be released. Release
the switch-on button.

Incorrect use

All applications carried out with the
device that are not listed in the „Intended
purpose" chapter will be considered
improper use.
The device may not be used for the
following purposes:
• Never use the electrical tool as a drill,
• For polishing, grinding, sharpening,
engraving with appropriate tools,
• As drive for additional devices.
There is a risk of injury.
The guarantee is voided by the
manufacturer if components other than
original components are used on the
machine.
Residual risks
Even when the device is used properly,
there is a residual risk that cannot be
excluded. The following potential dangers
are inherent in the type and construction
of the device:
• Contact with the rotating chuck
(crushing injuries)

• Reaching into the rotating mixer paddle
(cut injuries)
• Damage to the hearing if the
prescribed ear defenders are not worn
• Electrical shock when touching non-
insulated electrical components.
If the instructions detailed in your operating
instructions are not observed, incorrect
use may result in other residual risks.
• This unit may not be used by people
(including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capa­
cities, with a lack of experience and
without the appropriate knowledge,
unless they are supervised by some­
one who is responsible for their
safety or have been instructed by
such a person with regard to how the
unit is to be operated.
• Do not remove or manipulate the
safety mechanisms of the power tool.
• Do not make modifications to the
power tool or to parts of the device.
• Only put down the power tool when
it has been switched off and is at a
standstill.
• Separate the power tool from the
power supply when it is not in use.

Power tool use and care

• Do not overload the device. Use
the appropriate power tool for the
task in hand. The correct power
tool will do the job better and safer
in the power range for which it was
designed.
