• Avoid unnatural body positions.
Ensure that you are standing
securely and keep your balance at
all times. This enables better control
of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
hair, clothing and gloves well away
from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught
in moving parts. Rubber gloves and
non-slip footwear are recommended
when working outdoors.
• If facilities are provided for the
connection of a dust extractor and
collection facilities, ensure these
are connected and properly used.
Use of these mechanisms can reduce
dust-related hazards.

Service

• Have your power tool serviced by
a qualified repair person using only
original replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
Special safety requirements for
people with medical implants
Every power tool creates an electro-
magnetic field when used. Under certain
unfavourable circumstances, this may
affect the functionality of medical
implants (e. g. pacemakers).
Before you use the stirrer:
• Consult your doctor.
• Ask the manufacturer of the implant.

Safety instructions regarding
agitators
• Hold the power tool with both
hands on the handles provided for
it. Loss of control may result in injury.
• In order to avoid a potentially
dangerous working situation,
ensure adequate ventilation when
mixing flammable substances.
Vapours can be inhaled or ignited by
the sparks generated by the power
tool.
• Do not mix food items. Power tools
and their insert tools are not designed
for processing food.
• Keep the power cord away from the
work area. The power cord may get
caught in the stirrer basket.
• Make sure that the stirring
container is firmly and securely
fixed. A container that is not properly
secured may move unexpectedly.
• Make sure that no liquid is splashed
against the power tool housing.
Liquid that has penetrated the power
tool may cause damage and electric
shock.
• Follow the instructions and safety
instructions for the material to be
mixed. The material to be stirred may
be harmful to health.
• If the power tool falls into the
material to be mixed, immediately
unplug the power cord and have
the power tool checked by qualified
personnel. Reaching into the
container with the power tool still
hanging from the socket can cause an
electric shock.
