Your vacuum cleaner has three fi lters.
1. Main fi lter (in the dust container):
•
As your vacuum cleaner has a fi lter which you can remove
and wash, there is no need for you to purchase replacement
dust backs.
•
Open the dust container. Take out the fi lter insert. Empty the
contents of the dust container and clean the main fi lter by
knocking it against an object.
•
Stubborn dirt can be removed by passing water against the
direction of airfl ow through the fi lter fabric.
•
Only replace the fi lter insert when it is completely dry!
2. Motor protection fi lter (inlet fi lter):
•
The inlet fi lter is located in the dust container.
•
The fi lter is in a vertical position in the rear section of the
dust housing.
•
Pull the fi lter out at the front. Clean the motor protection
fi lter approximately every tenth time the vacuum cleaner is
emptied. If necessary, the fi lter can also be washed in warm
water without any additives.
•
Place it back into place only once it is completely dry!
3. Outlet fi lter:
•
The appliance is also equipped with an outlet fi lter.
•
You will fi nd this fi lter on the right-hand side of your vacuum
behind a ventilation grid.
•
Open the ventilation grid by pulling the lever above the
ventilation grid.
•
Remove the fi lter and clean as described above.
•
Fit the fi lter back into place and close the ventilation grid by
following the steps above in the opposite order.
