as suspicious.
Hold the "ADD" button for 4 seconds until "Ed" is shown on display 1. The display 2 will show
the sensitivity level of the detector. Set the necessary level of sensitivity from 0 to 9 (high sen-
sitivity level) by using digital buttons 0-9. Press the "START" button to enter a new figure in
the data store and exit the sensitivity level change mode.
7.2.4. Changing the acceptable width range for banknotes
Hold the "DD" button for 4 seconds until "dd" is shown on display 1. The sensitivity level is
shown on display 2. Enter the figure from 4 to 9, which corresponds to between 4 and 9 mm.
If the level is set to "0", width detection is OFF. In the event of a high sensitivity level, the
device may reject excessively worn, folded, or torn banknotes and will display the error code
"dd". Press "START" button to enter a new figure in the data store and exit sensitivity level
change mode.
The default settings correspond to average values:
Ed=5
dd=4
Eu=5
En=5
Attention! New settings are stored for future use.
Remember! Wrong settings can cause failures and frequent error messages. Error mes-
sages listed in Table 8.
Technical maintenance
In order to provide the best functioning of the device, it is necessary to comply with the fol-
lowing simple requirements:
Switch off the device, when not in use
Use protective cover, when not in use
Clean the hopper and stacker with a clean dry cloth. Sensors can cause errors when dirty.
It is recommended to carry out preventive measures, including partial disassembling of the
counter each 30 days by an engineer in the service center.
