3.4 INSTALLING THE FILTER UNIT
Follow these step by step instructions in order to correctly install the filter unit of the vacuum cleaner:
• Open the reservoir cover and remove it. Make sure that the filter intake opening of the filter unit remains
visible and reachable at all times (1a).
• Gently place the edge of the filter unit's rear end on the filter intake opening (2a und 3a). Pay attention to
the correct placement and orientation of the filter unit.
• Gently push the filter unit into the filter intake opening (4a).
• Pull up the retaining clips on the reservoir lid one after the other and attach them to the retaining hooks
of the filter unit (5a und 6a). Make sure that the retaining hooks are perfectly snapped in place with the
retaining latch.
• Replace the reservoir cover with the filter unit onto the cleaner's reservoir and carefully close the snap
locks (7a). Make sure that groove and spring of the reservoir unit are firmly interlocked and there is no
movement of any of the parts.

3.5 REMOVING THE FILTER UNIT
Follow these step by step instructions in order to correctly remove the filter unit of the vacuum cleaner:
• Open the reservoir cover and remove it. Make sure that the filter intake opening of the filter unit remains
visible and reachable at all times (1b).
• Carefully pull up the retaining clips on the reservoir cover and remove them from the retaining hooks of
the filter unit (2b).
• Gently remove the filter unit trough the filter intake opening (3b).
3.6 CLEANING THE FILTER UNIT
Follow these step by step instructions in order to correctly clean the filter unit of the vacuum cleaner – we
strongly advise to clean the filter unit after every tenth replacement of the filter bag in order to prevent loss
of suction power or damaging the machine:
• Open the reservoir cover and remove it. Make sure that the filter intake opening of the filter unit remains
visible and reachable at all times (1b).
• Carefully pull up the retaining clips on the reservoir cover and remove them from the retaining hooks of
the filter unit (2b).
• Gently remove the filter unit trough the filter intake opening (3b).
• Remove the upper filter cover from the filter unit and open the lower filter cover pushing the button (4b).
• Clean the filter unit and the sponge filter from the upper filter cover under running water or using com-
pressed air (5b). Always make sure that the filter fleece of the upper filter cover remains dry and undam-
aged.
• In case you used water to clean the filter unit and the sponge filter (from the upper filter cover), make
sure to dry them completely before putting them back (6b).
• Put back the sponge filter into the upper filter cover of the filter unit and close the lower filter cover (7b).
Make sure that the sponge filter is correctly fitted into the upper filter cover and the lock of the lower
filter cover is firmly clicked shut.
• Push the upper filter cover (containing the sponge filter) into the upper opening of the filter unit (8b).
Make sure that the upper filter cover is correctly placed inside of the filter unit and well clicked into
place.
• Replace the filter unit into the vacuum cleaner following the steps 1a to 7a.
