7. Use
After the device has been properly set up and
connected according to these instructions, you can
now prepare it for operation:

for details.
When the warming feature is switched on, the stainless
steel bottoms become unpleasantly hot. Do not touch
them there is danger of burning.

Filling the cup cabinet
Attention: The surface of the stainless steel bottoms
may become scratched. Therefore exercise care
when setting up and removing the cups and glasses.

Always place the cups and glasses with the
opening down into the cup cabinet. This will
keep the heat in the vessels.
b) Switching on/off
The machine needs to be turned on about an hour
before use, so that the warming plates can be heated
up to operating temperature.

Turn the machine on using the on/off switch.
8. Cleaning
Clean the device carefully according to the following
instructions to maintain the value and hygiene:
After you have switched off the device and the
warming area has cooled down:

Wipe plastic and stainless steel parts regularly
with a wet cloth. Do not use any abrasive agents
or sharp objects.

If you are using a stainless steel care agent, it
must be suitable for MELITTA

When performing the cleaning activities, make
sure that the device ...
is never immersed in water and
water is never poured on it and
it is never sprayed clean with a hose.
Also, do not spray the setup area, for
example, with a water hose or high-pressure
cleaner.
Danger to life from electrical shock may otherwise
occur from water entering the unit and touching live
parts.
First pull the power plug and allow the warming
area to cool before performing cleaning activities
on the device. This prevents the risk of burning if
you accidentally touch hot parts during cleaning.
Careful when using cleaning agents! The
ingredients are hazardous to your health when
swallowed and breathed in and irritate the eyes
and skin. Therefore:
Keep them inaccessible for children.
Wear suitable protective gloves.
Follow the warning instructions on the
cleaning agent containers.
