 HOW TO USE YOUR APPLIANCE

Before using it for the first time, you should clean your appliance as described below.

Prepare the food you want to cook.

Make sure that the grease drip tray (6) is attached.

Plug the appliance into the mains. The appliance will turn on and the control light
(2) will light up.

Put a little oil or fat on the grill plate.

The grill plates will have reached the right temperature after about 3 minutes
and the control light will go out. Beware of splashes of hot oil or fat.

Caution: The outside of the appliance gets very hot. Only touch the grill by the
handle (4).

Place the food to be grilled on the lower plate and close the grill. The appliance
will then grill the food on both sides. The upper plate will automatically adjust to
suit the thickness of the contents in the grill.

If necessary, turn the contents on the grill from time to time and leave it on the
grill until it is cooked to your liking.

After use, unplug the appliance.
 CLEANING

Disconnect from the mains. Leave the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.

Tip the appliance forwards a little so that any oil/grease can drain into the drip tray
(6).
o
Clean the grill plates with hot water and washing up liquid. Do not use any sharp
implements or abrasive products. These could damage the non-stick coating.
o
Only clean the housing with a damp cloth. Never immerse the entire appliance in
water.
