Please work through the following steps in order:
• Are the solar cells in good working condition/not faulty?
Is the protective glass unbroken?
Is the protective glass clean?
• Is the switch in the off position?
If not, move it back and forward a few times.
• Is there another source of light nearby (e.g. a street light)?
The device must be moved.
• Is the device in shadow during the day?
The light must be moved if the performance is inadequate.
• Are the batteries correctly installed?
Check the polarity.
• Is the lighting period inadequate/light not functioning?
Have you already checked all of the previous steps?
If the battery is empty or faulty, please charge the lights as per initial set-up. If this
does not produce an improvement please replace the batteries. Replacement of the
batteries after 12 months of continuous use become necessary depending on the
set-up and the number of low discharges. No claim against the guarantee is
possible as a result of this.
Replacement parts
The lights are in self-contained units. Due to the variety of models it is not possible to
make spare parts available at sales outlets.
Ni-Mh batteries can be obtained from all sales outlets. Take faulty batteries with you
to the outlet to ensure you install the same type or at least the same power.
A stronger battery is never a disadvantage but does not always produce a longer
lighting period.
